         The Norwegian-Russian Theatre RuNo (Tromsø, Norway) is a private theatre. Its most important purpose is to develop the international theatre environment in Tromsø. The main focus of the artistic development activities of the theatre is creating and conducting multilanguage- and interdisciplinary projects. There are two main directions of activities which RuNo Teater deals with now:

History:

             The company began its activity in May 2011 when Ekaterina Bespalova, an actress and CEO of the company, arranged and performed her first concert in Tromsø. These years RuNo Teater have been cooperating in particular with Kvensk Institutt, Sadio Nor Teater, Children’s Theatre School in Murmansk, KULTA, Monplesir Teater, Arctic Meeting Point.  In November 2017 RuNo Teater got two new employees.

May 2011 – The concert “Russian Romances” Tromsø. Director, singer
September 2012 – The performance “Who Am I ?” Petrozavodsk, Russia. Instructor, interpreter.
September 2013 – The performance “Who Am I ?” (part 2) Tromsø. Instructor, interpreter.
October 2013 – The walkingperformance «Walking with Wanny» Tromsø. Actress, translator. In cooperation with Sadio Nor Teater.

2015 – «A Night in the Toy Shop» workshop with children from the 2nd-6th forms
February 2016 – «NasjID» - the preproject «Sonate for Three», Tromsø. In cooperation with Sadio Nor Teater and in connection with the project «Two Good Neighbors».
2016 - The concert ”The Snow-Maiden” in connection with Lucia procession in cooperation with Sadio Nor Teater.
March 2017 – «Sonata for Three». Tromsø. In cooperation with Sadio Nor Teater and Monplezir Teater (Saint-Petersburg) in connection with the project «Two Good Neighbors».

June 2017 – «Two Banks - One River» - the concert with Norwegian and Russian singers through 100 years, namely 1900-2000. Tromsø. In cooperation with Children’s Theatre School (Murmansk).
October 2017 - «To Women – One Fate» Tromsø. In cooperation with Sadio Nor Teater. The performance was played for the Arctic Meeting Point in connection with Kulturnatta.
November 2017 - «Two Banks - One River» - the concert with Norwegian and Russian singers through 100 years, namely 1900-2000.. Tromsø. In cooperation with Arctic Meeting Point.
December 2017 - The concert ”The Snow-Maiden” in connection with Lucia procession in cooperation with Sadio Nor Teater.
2018 January - participation in organizing of the children cinema festival at Kysten Hus, Tromsø

2018 May - the project “Homo Ludens” in cooperation with UoT - The Arctic University of Norway
2018 May - September - the preproject “Kjærlighet Whatever”
2018 November - the concert ”The Russian Snow Maiden ” in connection with St. Lucy's Day in cooperation with Sadio Nor Teater.
2018 November - Hele verden på en øy, the integration evening for people with a minority background (supported by Tromsø Community)
2019 January -
- cooperation with Tromsø Cultural School in Tromsø , creation of Barents Teaterplattform.
- Ekaterina Bespalova got invited to the production (2020) of “Perron 48” as an actress
